3 Ways to Build Healthy Food Relations

Food plays a vital role in our well being. After all, we are what we eat. And hence it is important to have a healthy and positive relationship with your food. Today I’m going to address just that. Read on to find out how to develop a healthy relationship with your food.

Do not think of it as calories, carbs, fat etc: Yes, you read that right. Now I don’t mean to say that you should eat high-fat or sugary food without thinking. Eating balanced meals is important. Although, when you eat your food, eat it as it is and don’t stress over carbs, calories, fats etc. Eat it like this food will nourish your body, and enjoy every bite.

Do not weigh your food: This practice is certainly not advisable. You should be connected to your body and eat just as much as it asks you to.

Set aside screens & distractions: Be it your TV, phone or anything, you need to set it aside and eat your food with peace. Slowly chew your food and lose yourself in it. This is your way to stay connected to your body and know how much you need to eat.
