Hi FitFam! I’ve been getting a lot of requests from all of you lately on tips to gain weight. Also, some of you have expressed that even if you gain your weight, you can’t maintain it.
This write up is especially for people who want to gain weight and maintain it.
Here are 5 tips you can follow to gain weight:
- LIQUID CALORIES– have more liquid calories. Examples include milk shakes, juices etc.
- HIGH CALORIC FOODS– have foods high in calories. Examples include dry fruits, specific fruits like banana, mango etc.
- WEIGHT TRAINING– train weights at least twice a week. Do not train biceps but bigger muscle groups like glutes, back etc.
- HAVE FREQUENT SMALL MEALS– have 4- 5 small meals throughout the day.
- CALORIE SURPLUS– get into a surplus of 300 to 500 calories per day.
