Today I will discuss grocery items that support gut health. Gut health is very important. It helps boost immunity, mental health, gastrointestinal disorders, etc.

Vegetables: Vegetables are one of the most common and affordable sources of nutrition. You can consume vegetables like onion, kale, leeks, green peas, broccoli, asparagus, and kimchi.

Fruits: Fruits are a good source of vitamins and minerals. Fruits also help support the growth of healthy bacteria growth in the body. We can consume fruits like raspberries, bananas, apples, and oranges.

Grains and Legumes: Grains and Legumes play an important role. They provide sufficient fibre and also have low sugar content. India is the soil of grains, so there is the perfect amount of availability in the market. Consumption of grains and legumes like beans, lentils, miso paste, brown rice, and couscous will help.

Drinks: Drinks always refresh and restart our bodies and help us feel energetic. Drinks also add good bacteria to the body. Drinks that support gut health are kombucha, kefir (coconut water or cow/sheep milk-based), and tea.

Also avoid consuming red meat, sugar, and processed food items. Focus on increasing fibre.
