Today I’m here to talk about an often neglected aspect of the fitness journey – hydration. Water intake is very very important. It plays a vital role in helping you stay fit and healthy. The centres for thirst and hunger are close to each other in the brain. Hence there are times when you are thirsty but your brain might mistake it for being hungry.
Every day I drink 10-12 glasses of water and sometimes more during summer and I recommend the same to others. Water contributes to your everyday bodily functions, cognitive functions etc. After you have done a strenuous workout you sweat which leads to loss of water. Hence post-workout too it is vital to rehydrate. Also, consider drinking a glass of water every hour. That’s a good way to go about it.
