Understanding PCOS: Which of your hormones are out of balance?

Hi Fitfam,

I hope you all are doing well,

Today, I will discuss hormonal imbalances that cause PCOS. I have included some of the common and rare symptoms and levels of imbalance. Have a look to find out.

Insulin, Testosterone, and Cortisol: High levels of th given hormones can cause symptoms such as sleep, cravings, weight, hair loss, periods, PCOD, hirsutism, anxiety, stress, moodiness, and energy.

DHT, LH, DHEA: High levels of these hormones cause common symptoms such as ovulation, acne, hirsutism, hair loss, and periods.

Thyroid, and Progesterone: Low levels of these hormones can cause symptoms such as sleep, weight gain, mood, energy, and periods.

Estrogen: Low or high levels of this hormone can cause common symptoms such as periods, mood, libido, and bloating.

Conclusion:  Knowing this will help you understand what the best treatment plan will be.
