3 Reasons Why your Diet isn’t Working for You

Many of us happen to follow a diet, exercise and do everything it takes to lose weight. Although, we still do not see the results. This can make you wonder what am I doing wrong? Today I am going to take some burden off your shoulder. Many people ask me why their diets aren’t working. A careful analysis of their lifestyle has made me come up with the top 3 reasons a diet isn’t doing justice. So read on to find out which of these 3 points are hindering your growth.

Insufficient Protein Intake: Every meal you consume should have some amount of protein. Protein is the building block of your body. The human body needs protein to build muscle. Now consuming insufficient protein will make you lose muscle, instead of losing fat. Now along with losing muscle, you will also be gaining fat. So in conclusion, your weight loss on the scale would be zero.  

Not Getting Enough Exercise or Too Much Exercise: You need the optimum amount of exercise to lose fat. Not getting enough exercise can hinder weight loss. On the other hand, too much exercise can put stress on your body which makes it difficult for your body to lose body fat because it is in a state of stress. 

Hormonal Imbalances: Hormonal imbalances can act as a deterrent in weight loss. There are many reasons for an imbalance in hormones, and I will cover some of them in my next topic.
